Phillip L. Forshee, age 73, of Dundas, MN, passed away September 14, 2026.
Phil was a man who always put his family first. The close relationship he shared with his daughters, wife, and siblings brought him immense joy, and he was happiest when he was supporting them. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. Never one to leave a dad joke on the table, Phil loved making people laugh, and he was always ready to share a good laugh with friends and family.
Phillip Lynn, the son of Donald and Ellen (Swenson) Forshee, was born on May 1, 1953, in Forest City, Iowa. He graduated from high school in Swea City, Iowa, and attended Iowa Lakes Community College. For many years, Phil worked as a National Meat Buyer for C&S Wholesale Grocers.
As a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan, Phil loved a good game day. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like going for long drives, doing jigsaw puzzles, taking casino trips, and enjoying a good steak.
He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Hoffman of Helena, MT, and Jessica Forshee of White Plains, NY; siblings, Steve Forshee (Patricia) of Waseca, MN, Mary McMahon (Mike) of Goodyear, AZ, and Barb Morris (Michael) of Ames, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dawn; his parents, Donald and Ellen; and his brother, Jim Forshee.
A Celebration of Life service for Phil will be held at a later date.
