Hydrant flushing will begin May 4th and continue on as weather permits. After flushing, residents may notice a rusty look to tap water and should run their COLD water for 2-5 minutes until clear.
Things to avoid when we are flushing hydrants in your area:
Doing laundry, especially light colors
Avoid using your hot water taps until any discoloration has cleared
Running a tap that has a filter on it
