Evon Frechette, age 96, of Faribault, died on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Homestead Hospice in Owatonna.
Funeral Services were held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. Sister Kathleen Hayes, Pastoral Care, Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiated. Interment was at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
Evon Jeanette was born on January 6, 1926, in Dundas, the daughter of Louis and Annie (Thomas) Burhop. Evon waitressed at various restaurants in the Faribault area. She enjoyed having the role of Grandma at Washington School. In 1964, Evon was united in marriage to Leo Frechette. They enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing together. She loved to crochet and more recently she enjoyed coloring. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn (and David) Steinberg, Ernest (and Carol) Pleschourt, Bonnie (and Wayne) Uberto and June LeRoy; daughter-in-law, Cindi Pleschourt; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Annie; husband, Leo; son, Walter “Tom” Pleschourt, Jr.; daughter, Jeri (and Larry) Hoban; and son-in-law, Lester LeRoy.
