Dundas Dukes to Host 2022 Baseball Tournaments

The Minnesota Baseball Association and the Dundas Dukes announced they will be hosting the State Class B and Class C tournaments in Dundas, Faribault and Miesville. 
Tournaments will be held on three weekends starting August 19-21, August 26-28, and September 2-5, 2022.   The Class B title game will be played at Dundas on September 5, and the Class C title game will be played at Faribaults Bell Field on September 5. 
 
The Class B tournament will have games taking place in Miesville and Dundas with 16 teams playing in the tournament.  The Class C tournament will have games at all three sites, with the finals being played in Faribault. 
 
Mike Ludwig , co-manager of The Dukes, stated they expect crowds of over 500 for most of the games, and 8000-12000 people attending over the three weekends.   This will be the second time Dundas has been a host for the state tournament.  Dundas and Northfield hosted the tournament in 2003 with attendance for those games totaling over 12,000.
 
The Dundas Dukes have won 5 Class B State Titles, in 1982, 1988, 1998, 1999 and 2015, and has been runner-up 8 times in years 1975, 1980,1981,1996,2003, 2008, 2010 and 2019.
